Create a catchment area for a GD post.
This job is very similar but much simpler than this one https://geodirectoryexperts.com/jobs/back-end-jobs/add-functionality-set-polygon-plot-points-on-map-for-businesses-location-service-area/ If you can do this one you can probably undertake the other one as well and get paid twice…
Add the ability for users to specify a service area around the GD listing location. So, while making a geo-referenced post, the user can also specify X Kilometers and Miles (could be a freeform integer number or pre-defined increments, i.e. 10 km, 25 km, 50 km, 250 km, 500 km, etc.). This can differ for each GD listing/ business, and it would signify the area that this business would normally cover. Think taxi cab companies, pizza deliveries, plumbers, etc.
Integration into GD should include the ability to display the service areas of filtered results on a map. The result should be a map with some large, some small circles (depending on the listing’s service area setting) around the listing’s pin. Site users can also search (and possibly be notified via “Save Searches” add-on) based on the service areas, rather than proximity. In these cases, the geo-search should highlight all listings where the search position falls within its service area. So if a listing is 498km from the search but its service area was set to 500km it should still show, whereas the listing that is 55km from the search but its service area is 50km must not show.
I think the budget should cover it but I’m happy to discuss this within reason.
Many thanks
