WordPress/GeoDirectory Expert - Dynamic CTA Integration & Custom Rating System

Project Overview We are developing CHEQUEE.fr, a high-traffic directory for establishments accepting French “Chèques Vacances”. We use WordPress + GeoDirectory + Elementor. We need a GeoDirectory specialist to handle two specific technical optimizations to improve our conversion rate (Booking.com affiliation) and data precision. Scope of Work Task 1: Conditional “Book Now” CTA (Hotel Category Only) We need to automate the display of a high-visibility Booking.com affiliate button. Logic: The button must ONLY appear for listings in the “Hôtel” category AND if the booking_url custom field is populated. Placement: Integration into the GD Detail Template (via Elementor or GD Hooks). Goal: A prominent, high-converting design that opens in a new tab. Task 2: Manual Decimal Rating System (Same UI, Higher Precision) We want to replace user-generated ratings with our own database ratings. Precision: We need to display ratings with one decimal point (e.g., 4.2/5 or 4.7/5). Currently, GD rounds these to the nearest 0.5. UI/UX: The visual output (stars and placement) must stay identical to the native GeoDirectory design. Data: The scores will be managed via CSV mass uploads into a custom field. Constraint: Public voting must be disabled/hidden. Technical Requirements Deep expertise in GeoDirectory (Hooks, template overrides, and custom fields). Ability to override core functions (like get_overall_box_html) without breaking plugin updates. Proficiency with Elementor Pro and PHP.
