Customize Add and Edit CPT forms as multi-paged or tabbed so it is not too long

Hi there, I am hoping to have a dev customize the add and edit “place” forms. I am asking for a lot in the form, so I would like to find a way to split it so it is not too long. The add form can be multi-page or tabbed. The Edit form should be tabbed. Thank you.
